Matt received his two bachelors of science degrees in Athletic Training and Exercise Sports Science from Vanguard University in 2002.  He continued his education at Chapman University, receiving his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2006.

In 2009 Matt founded Change Sports Physical Therapy in Anaheim, CA.  For two years, Matt worked closely with the USA Men's and Women's National Indoor Volleyball teams.  During his time working with the teams, he performed pre-season screenings, treated injured athletes, and helped cover practices at the Anaheim facility.

In 2011 Matt moved his practice to Huntington Beach, CA to be closer to home and involved in the community. Since that time, he has enjoyed meeting and working with hundreds of people in the community.

Since receiving his Doctorate in Physical Therapy, Matt has developed skills through education courses and working with patients in the areas of injury prediction screenings, SI joint disorders, shoulder rehabilitation, return to sport participation and PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation - I know fancy word)

Matt lives in Orange County with his wife and 4 boys.  He is also very involved in the community, coaching AYSO soccer and serving as Executive Pastor at Father's House OC.

Matt has been involved in several sports physical therapy settings outside of the clinic:

Volunteer Physical Therapist AVP So Cal Tour 2016, 2017, 2018
Physical Therapy Provider for USA Volleyball 2009-2010
Marina High School Athletics
