In this phase of your ankle sprain recovery we turn most of our attention at getting pain free mobility in the ankle. This means our goal is to get the ankle to move in the full range in what it is designed to move.

There is a very common issue in this phase of the recovery. There is one motion which almost always is an issue and is the most important motion to make sure you get back. Without this motion, you won’t be able to run and move in the best way. Your body will start to compensate for the lack of motion in this direction. You HAVE TO MAKE SURE YOU RESTORE THIS MOTION.
